Faith • Fellowship • Networking
A brotherhood of faith connecting generations of Yala alumni through spiritual growth, mentorship and meaningful fellowship.
The Yala Old Boys SDA Ministry is a fellowship of former students from St. Mary's School Yala who were members of the Seventh-day Adventist Society during their time in school.
Though we come from different classes, generations, professions and regions, we remain united by our shared faith, brotherhood, values and experiences formed during our school years.
Our ministry exists to strengthen spiritual growth, mentorship, networking and lifelong connections among alumni while creating opportunities for members to support one another both personally and professionally.
St. Mary's School Yala is among Kenya's historic educational institutions, founded in 1927 and located in Yala Township, Siaya County. The school has shaped generations of leaders, professionals and men of character over many decades.
Within this environment, the SDA Society became more than just a student fellowship. It became a spiritual family where students worshipped together, encouraged one another and formed friendships that lasted long after school.
Today, the ministry continues that same spirit of unity and faith by bringing together alumni from different decades into one strong community.
The ministry is centered around faith, fellowship, mentorship and meaningful connections among members.
Encouraging spiritual growth and continued Christian fellowship.
Strengthening bonds among alumni across different generations.
Connecting members through universities, careers and professions.
Guiding younger members through education, career and spiritual life.
